When I bought my Bosch router kit at Costco, I purchased one of their cheap chinese ("Woodsmith") router bit sets. I notice lately using the laminate trimmer that it cuts a little less than flush. Is this normal, or is it just the cheap bits?

I received my goody bag of pen blanks that Jeff.. had cut on different biases than normal blanks are cut: 22.5°, 45°, & 90° to the grain (cross cut)

I have a scrap piece of countertop that I got years ago at Home Depot. It appears to be 1" particle board (not MDF) with laminate on both top and bottom. I wanted to trim 2 sides of it. I'm assuming this will not be great for my table saw blade. Will it ruin it pretty quickly, or is it OK...
I am just about ready to start my first cabinet/built-in project. :eusa_clap I plan to use dados and was wondering how deep you cut them in 3/4 shop grade red oak. I ran some test samples with 3/16, 1/4 and 3/8 and the 1/4 looks good but I have no experience to help base my decision.
