2010 Taxes

Met with Jane Huband to file the taxes for 2010 yesterday and found out that NCWW has not filed before. She doesn't know if there will be negative ramifications, but I'm giving you all a heads up. So for now you know what I know.

The Last Marblewood Wand of 2010

For a friend's daughter. I've been wanting to make a wand for a while. Watching a J.K. Rowling interview on Oprah yesterday got me inspired to conjure up one. I'm stepping out on a limb here, but I think it's safe to say this is the very last marblewood wand manufactured anywhere during 2010...

Greg Paolini on the Proper Use of Planes

Greg gave a fourth talk on the use of bench planes that was very well attended as well. Folks were impressed with his ultra-thin shavings from the full length of a hard maple board.
