:icon_thum It is time for our annual Fall Drawing! :eusa_danc

We've searched high and low for a group of prizes that we know will make you the envy of many fellow woodworkers if you win just one of these prizes. With a $5 ticket, you can win prizes up to $900 in value -- and if you buy more tickets (buy as many as you want!), you'll have an opportunity to win over $3,000 in total value. Ticket sales will end on November 18 and the drawing will be held on November 20 (winners do not need to be present to win).

Featured prizes are a Rikon 14” bandsaw, a Woodpeckers Precision Router Lift V2, two sets of Bessey K-Body Revo Clamps (four 24” and four 40” clamps with eight setup blocks), a Kreg Tools K4 Master Pocket Hole Jig, your choice of $500 of hardwoods from Mountain Sawyers, a Lee Valley DX60 Block plane, a pair of Lee Valley Veritas saws (a 20 tpi dovetail and a 16 tpi crosscut) with a marking gauge, a Pro Cabinetmaker’s Sharpening set from Lee Valley, three DVD’s from Lie-Nielsen on Inlay techniques by Steve Latta, a $250 Gift Certificate from Klingspor’s Woodworking Shop, a seat in an upcoming Woodworking Class by Greg Paolini at The Woodworking Source, and two ½” and one 3/8" Artisan bowl gouges, a Teknatool Nova Midi Lathe Chuck and Direct Reading Calipers contributed by Craft Supplies and Lee Valley. We thank all of the vendors for their generosity in providing these excellent tools to help NC Woodworker, Inc. to meet our long-term goal of keeping this website available free to area woodworkers.

Downloadable copies of the Prize Descriptions, the Official Rules and a Mail-In Form are found in the Download Library, but I have provided links here. To buy your tickets online, click on this Link that will take you to The Woodworking Source -- You'll see the box to buy tickets on the right side of their website.

You can buy your drawing tickets online using the link we have provided. This takes you to The Woodworking Source. Just look for this item:

If you prefer to mail in your purchase, fill in the Mail-In Form (print legibly) and send it with your check (no cash), but allow time to mail it so it is received by the closing deadline. Good luck to everyone -- sadly the members of the current Board of Directors are not eligible to win. If you have questions or need more information, please send an email to me at drawinginfo@ncwoodworker.net.

GOOD LUCK!

Important Update: Lot 12 has been improved with the addition of a second 1/2" Artisan Bowl Gouge, a 3/8" Artisan Bowl Gouge and a Teknatool Nova Midi Lathe Chuck, all from Craft Supplies!

Re: Fall 2010 Drawing

What a surprise! Today I received three more items from Craft Supplies (www.woodturnerscatalog.com) as follows: Two more Artisan Lathe Gouges (a second 1/2" and a 3/8" one), and a Teknatool Nova Midi Lather Chuck with 1" bore and 8 Tpi thrteads that will fit most 12" or small swing midi-lathes. These items have been added to Lot 12 and all of the associated files have been updated. Just some added prizes for you to win! Now you'll have no excuse for not buying those tickets!

Re: Fall 2010 Drawing - Win a Bandsaw!

We hope to see many of you at the Klingspor Extravaganza this Friday and Saturday. We'll have all of the prizes for the drawing and you'll be able to purchase tickets while you're there in case you haven't gotten yours yet.

Among the great prizes we have is the 14" Rikon 10-325 2-speed Bandsaw. It features a 13" resaw height and a potent 1-1/2 HP motor to support that slicing capacity. Two speeds (1445 and 2950 Ft/min) allow a full range of control of your cuts on the generous 16" x 21-1/2" tiltable table. When changing blades (1/8" to 3/4" sizes), a quick-release tension control makes it easy. A 4" dust port easily draws out the sawdust from the base of the saw. Click here to see it in action or better yet, come join us and drool on it in Hickory!

Do you take Paypal, again? I know that stopped for a while.

Go

You can buy raffle tickets easier than pay pal. Go To http://www.thewoodworkingsource.com/ and select the ncww raffle ticket. Purchase as many as you want. Rick DiNardo has graciously volunteered to be our credit card processing agent for this raffle. Works pretty much like the pay pal option except pay pal does not allow raffles. Thanks Millions Rick:notworthy::notworthy:

Hey folks,

we are down to the last two weeks for this drawing and we encourage you all to help us with this important fundraiser -- this one gives you an excellent chance to get something back for your all-important support for the NCWoodworker!

A single ticket is only $5 and gives you 12 chances to win a prize! Your chances increase dramatically if you buy more tickets and the benefits to our educational efforts improve with those multiple purchases. We've made it as easy as we can to make your purchase online or by sending in a check using our Mail-in Form.

The drawing closes on November 18th, so don't miss out!

More Good News!

Lot #11 has just been improved (we will draw two tickets)! The Woodworking Source has scheduled two seats for winners of a class with Gregory Paolini, including materials, to build a Limbert-inspired table featured in Fine Woodworking magazine by Greg. The classes will be held on December 4th and 5th.

We have less than two weeks for this drawing and we encourage you all to help us raise funds -- this one gives you an excellent chance to get something back for your all-important support for the NCWoodworker!

Re: Fall 2010 Drawing - It could be YOU!

Just 7 days to go!

and we really need your support! Ticket sales have not kept pace with last spring, but there are some great prizes for your $5 chance. And I'm going to improve your chances to win! As anyone who has read this thread so far already knows, we added prizes to Lot #12 and Lot 11 got doubled when two seats for a Greg Paolini Furniture making class were confirmed at the Woodworking Source. And now,
We're adding three more chances to win!
The new prizes will be $25 gift certificates from Craft Supplies, Inc. and we will draw for them as well on November 20th. So now each $5 ticket has 15 chances to win! But we need you to buy your tickets (or buy more if you have already purchased some) so we can make this a good fundraiser. At present, we are barely out of the Red on our expenses to get this massive group of items together -- last Spring we sold just under $5,000 in tickets and we are not even halfway to that goal. So come on folks, click on the Buy Tickets Now! link and invest in NC Woodworker's future!

I don't know of any other contest where you can win such great prizes and have such a good chance at doing it. Buy as many tickets as you can but if every member bought just one ticket it would help enormously. And your one ticket has just as much chance of winning as any one else's.

I am proof that you can win at NCWW even if you never win with any other drawings :eusa_danc.

I bought my tickets online but never actually got any "ticket numbers"; will these be issues after the sale period closes?
