I'm in the same boat, I cut a big Locust tree for firewood and now I think it is too nice to burn. I have 6 short logs in the woods that I need to drag out by hand and cut into blanks.

I'd like to have some maple but there just aren't enough hours in the day.

Define 'manageable'. I have a 12' dump trailer I could come p/u some on if I could get close enough to load it - or bring a 4 wheeler to drag it outa the woods if I needed to. If it's less than 125# it could probably be hand loaded onto the trailer. I think I'm off New Year's Day..........

Managable is a relative term here. Whatever I can move around without busting a gut in the process. :tinysmile_tongue_t: I think most of it could be hand carried as it's in an area behind my house and not really accessible via conventional vehicle. 4 wheeler may work but the undergrowth of vines, small trees and briars is pretty intense. I usually load things up on my cart or tote/roll/drag it out.
