What is your favorite woodworking "therapy" ?

Bas' post about firing brads (he mentioned it was therapeutic ) got me thinking and wondering.. What is the the most therapeutic thing you do in the shop? It isn't necessarily what you enjoy most; a lot of projects I really like to take on have some stress involved. For me, I think it is...

    Favorite Icon

If you look at the address bar when you go to our site, in addition, you will see an icon that identifies our site. At least you used to be able to. Since I rebooted the site a few days ago, that icon no longer shows up. At least on my mac running FF. Anyone else see this?

new favorite saw and Mr obvious comment

The old Disston that I just cleaned up is a D7 I think. A rip saw made between 1896 and 1917. I used it today and it cuts like a dream. Better than my new rip saw pictured here. 28inches and heavier too. I was ripping some 7 foot stock and it was pinching the saw so I wedged a knife blade in...

    Favorite finish: Sapelle?

I'm looking for input regarding favorite finishes for sapelle. I want to pop the grain a little, and accent the reds in the wood. Anyone have a preference or advice? This is my first sapelle project. This sapelle will be the rails and stiles for panels veneered in curly bubinga.

    Pink is my favorite color

Yep - guys take warning... A few years ago I bought my wife a small little estwing hammer which I nicknamed the girly hammer, she was complaining that my 28oz hammer was to heavy for her to use. She liked the girly hammer BUT she said it's not pink  So I said if I ever see a pink handled...
