I recently bought some turning squares of Osage Orange and Tulipwood (2" x 2" x 12"). They are wax coated entirely. I checked their MC with my HF moisture meter  and it read around 14%. I plan to cut them into pen blanks. My question is if I should leave the wax coating on them or scrape...
While cleaning out the shop I found a few more crappy curly maple pen blanks. Same game, I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 10. The first person to guess the number gets the planks, plus a few more that wouldn't fit on my scanner. 1 guess per person please, good luck guessing :-D
Thanks
