Holly Blanks and lumber

I have some holly lumber available and some turning blanks. The size of this tree was exceptional and many prominent turners in the Charlotte area are making visits to pick it up before its gone.

I have around 50 bf of 5/4 material 9 feet long available perhaps more in the near future and 2 flitches of very straight and large tree available live edged and over 18" wide and 12 feet long 5/4 thick.

1 have 3 blanks that are 9x9x8 thick that are selling for .75 pound (will post pictures tommorow)

The 50 bf is out of the straight edged boards and the 2 flitches out of the live edged boards. This is all I have to offer at this time. May be more later.

Its not kiln dried, Its really creamy white and its very dense and heavy.

Let me know if you plan a trip out to Kyle's and would like some company. I would like to pick up some small pieces to play with turning some small boxes, but I don't really need enough to make for a trip just for myself...of course, Kyle always has me leaving with more than I expected.

...speaking of which, Kyle, you don't have any redwood burl available, do you?

the Holly is going for $5.00/bf or about 1/2 the going rate anywhere else. I think capital city lumber has holly for 15.99 for 4/4.

The blanks are $15.00 /each and wax sealed.

2 are sold I have 1 left and can saw a few more next week if people are interested.


Each of the boards above would go for $40.00 1.25" thick x 9" wide x 9' feet long = 8.43 bf
