He just finished building a porch with this some of this wood (looks great by the way). I drove out and met Paul today. A really nice guy and the wood is nice too
. Probably over half of it is 1/4 sawn and it is pretty straight. There are some pin sized holes in some of boards but he doesn't mind if you pick through them.
One of the boards I picked up is 8/4 quartersawn and a good half of it is figured too!
