On a previous home, the foundation vents were custom made from untreated wood and yep, they rotted in the flatlands of SC. I rebuilt them with KDAT lumber and it was like working with regular lumber in the way it cut, etc. I recommend it for outdoor projects where you can't tolerate shrinkage or warping/twisting as the PT dries out.
