Finally got enough pictures to show that it did happen, but I appologize for the quality. They certainly aren't calendar quality. I think this is a case of the pictures being harder to get than the cabinet was to make!!!
Cabinets are Birch ply and Popular. Face frames are made with lap joints. Doors are m/t joints. Stain is Red mahogany with wipe on poly. Found a thread that used the same materials and stain so tried to follow it. The popular was still hard to control, even by sealing it first.
This is a Christmas present for DIL.
Lessons learned:
1) I am going to take John's finishing and staining class Saturday. I really
need it.
2) I need a decent camera.
