I've been working on this thing for what seems like forever, just been running into all kinds of delays and this winter hasn't helped either. Thankfully the weather was superb this weekend which allowed me to finally knock this thing out.

Made from black walnut, legs are re-claimed (as evidenced by the nail I left visible in the last pic), finished with two coats of tung oil (was still soaking in when the pics were taken). Still need to put some pulls on the drawers, otherwise FINISHED. Oh and yes, it weighs a TON.

Great job on using reclaimed lumber. Man that table just looks heavy. Shure wouldn't want to stub my toe on it, hahaha.
You should be happy with how it came out

Ben,

Very nice job on the table. I'm due to build one... one of these days... my daughter asked for one a while ago. Who is the lucky recipient? Does this one go into your place? Or maybe one of the kids?

Beautiful work Ben! :eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap

Oh and yes, it weighs a TON.

It is for my girlfriend, late birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day present.

Just tell her it's heavy enough to make up for all three of those occasions. :gar-La;
