:icon_thum Good on ya, Scott, for giving Dave help w/transport.
One question: why is there only one pic of Dave doing any work?
Remember, it ain't the size of the tool but how much wood it can take off that counts.
I went to the Woodworking show in Charlotte. My wife went with me to keep me from spending to much. :nah: I said lets go see were Rick's place was, :eusa_thin put his address it GPS took us right to it. :icon_thum We pull it and what a surprise to see all of the NCWWers. Was good to get to see all of you.

One other thing that I did this morning was to peruse the NCWoodworker archives regarding good books on cabinet making. Thanks for some very sage advice that was previously provide, Amazon.com received an order for several great books!
I plan on using these to help me build the cabinets for the shop.
Here's what I invested in; it looks like they should cover a lot of bases in addition to what I already have:
Building Kitchen Cabinets"
Udo Schmidt
"Building Traditional Kitchen Cabinets: Completely Revised and Updated"
Jim Tolpin;
"Illustrated Cabinetmaking: How to Design and Construct Furniture That Works"
Bill Hylton;
"Shop Drawings for Craftsman Interiors: Cabinets, Moldings & Built-Ins for Every Room in the Home (Shop Drawings series)"
Robert W. Lang
"The Complete Kitchen Cabinetmaker: Shop Drawings and Professional Methods for Designing and Constructing Every Kind of Kitchen and Built-In Cabinet"
Robert W. Lang;
"Cabinetmaking and Millwork"
John Louis Feirer; Hardcover;
I'm excited that I was able to obtain the Feirer and Hylton books, and the rest are just gravy.
Man, what a great site and group of folks. NCWoodworker ROCKS!
