Sweet pen Nick. I can't wait to see how that Sycamore turns out. My hunk is waiting on me to finish all my Xmas gifts, before I can start to mangle it

57 pens...you really need to go back to work

That Corian really looks nice, Nick!

I swear that you guys can turn just about anything into a masterpiece!

That is really a whole lot of pens in a short period of time, Nick. I agree with Dave, time to switch to a new project!

Congrats on throwing away those old crutches! You must feel "free as bird"!

Great work......as usual, Nick!:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Corian pen turned out great. Glad to hear you're off the crutches. Been there, done that, no fun!! You could always turn a few pens from the crutches, just to remember.

It was a hard material and smelled like plastic when turning. I have white dust all over the lathe that sticks not like wood that drops to the bench. I did have to sharpen the tools twice though :rolf:

Gee Nick, if the crutches are already hollow surely there is some way to utilize them - maybe a pen for King Kong  Glad to hear you are off the crutches. Then pen looks great.

Glad to hear that you can now hobble around on your two legs -- I'm sure you are happy the crutches are history! Pens turning has been magnificent -- loking forward to seeing the bowls....
