    Does anyone know of a mobile sawyer in the concord/kannapolis area. I will have a tree or 2 that I would like to get milled. The closest sawyer I know is in the Rock Hill area but is not mobile.

    Another "group build" :mrgreen: The maple came from Jeff, the walnut from Jack ( saw4u) and the cherry from Rod . The curly maple I found on Craigslist As before all the sanding and polishing was done by hand Pattern is adapted from Berry Basket Thanx for lookin :mrgreen:

    FIL has some acreage that would yield some nice oak. Would girdling the trees help in the drying process? If so, when would be the best time to girdle them? How long should they be left before felling? TIA.
