Jim, it varies. Just about all of the chestnut that is available comes from reclaimed beams. You're probably anywhere between $5.00 bd ft on the low end, to $12.00 bd ft on the high end for 4/4.
Some friends of mine in Burnsville sell it for $7 or $8/ft. Might check with Appalachian Hardwoods listed under our wood sources directory under the Western part of the state.
