I just bought a Craftsman 12" Belt Drive Saw-Sander. Model #113.243310.
I bought the required 80" blade at Sears no problem. Do any of you know where I can get the Sander belt. I can not find an 80" sander belt on line or at the Sears site.
I only had to pay $68 for the whole machine...

Why are these things so expensive? I called Grizzly to see what a new conveyor belt would cost for my 24" dual drum sander. They want more than $250!!!!
Anyone have a local source for reasonably priced (like less than $100) conveyor belts? I'm looking for reinforced rubber/poly surfaced belt...
I am looking foir a 1" belt sander that can produce a true 90 degree angle. Has not seen a good review on the Grizzly or Delta models. Anyone have a suggestion??? Thanks !!!!
I am relatively new to woodworking and have probably wasted a bunch of money getting started on a new hobby. However, certainly the best $26.00 I have spent in a long time was invested in the linked replacement table saw belt that Tom sells at Woodcraft in Raleigh.

Detail shows how table mounting shaft comes through the dust collection channel. Note dual purpose mounting bolt; the 1st nut assembly is pined to the bolt, and used to secure the table shaft, the 2nd nut secures the dust channel to the sander.
