Got this link from another forum.....

http://www.kobalttools.com/?source=banner&campid=262016212212195100&CMXID=2111.001231.xmc

You enter a contest to win $4800 worth of Kobalt tools and they will send you a coupon for a free Kobalt 6 in 1 screwdriver redeemable at Lowes. Took my coupon to a Cary Lowes this afternoon and they said that they were oversold by 16 of them.:rolf:

The ToolWord manager just wrote down the skew number on a sticker, picked up a similar 6 in 1 screwdriver, handed it to me and said "Have a Nice Day!".:eusa_danc:eusa_danc

I, for one love freebies! Thought I would pass it along to ya'll. (I plan on giving mine to one of my daughters for her "tool kit":).

Thanks for the link. You can never have too many of these. One for each car and one for just about every room in the house

Cool, thanks. Now I can redeem that with my coupon for free Woodfiller (something that I never use, but might like to try ) that came in the last Lowe's Woodworking propaganda mag.

Picked mine up today. If I had to drive any amount of distance, I wouldn't have made the trip. Don't get me wrong, I like free stuff, but a $3.98 value screwdriver doesn't warrant a $3.05 gallon of gas to go get it.

Just my .02 which is getting devalued at an alarming rate.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

You are right, Michael! I did have to make an emergency run for a couple of packs of sandpaper, so I pulled out the coupon while I was there!

Us old retired guys are always chasing the bargain it seems, no matter what it turns out to be.

Glad that you picked one up!:eusa_clap

Wayne,

Thanks for the link. Free is absolutely my favorite price (when buying). And the screwdriver givers me another excuse to visit Lowes.

Thanks for the link. We are at Lowes at least several times a week during the remodeling project. Free is good.

I am so entered in the giveaway. Wait, if I win a screwdriver, than win the grand prize, isn't that redundant? :eusa_thin

Thanks for the link! I entered but I had already gotten a free screwdriver with a coupon that came in the Lowe's newsletter. Funny thing about it...I went to lowes for some bolts that I needed and brought the coupon for the freebie. When I got to the checkout my total was over $5 with the screwdriver. The cashier scanned the barcode on the coupon and it discounted everything! So I got the bolts as well as the screwdriver for free :eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap

I might have to do that again with this offer, I need more bolts!:-D

I got the same sad result, David. I did email my local Lowes asking how I could claim my free gift.

Thanks for the link, Wayne. Was in Lowes two days ago and picked up the freebie! It will work nicely for my wife around the house. I am sure I will be the one using :-D it but it is in her storage bin.
