Someone to patch around the vent pipes on my roof

Looking for a recommendation to patch around the vent pipes on my roof. My house is two stories and my 24' ladder is not tall enough. I live in the Greensboro/High Point area.

Steel pipes to PEX...

I've got access to enough free PEX to redo my water lines. Right now my pipes are a mix of mostly metal (iron, galvanized?) with a bit of copper. I'd like to start the PEX at the metal inlet in the basement. What's the best way to couple the PEX to the metal inlet? I didn't see anything at the...

Can I install a water heater without soldering the pipes?

I just took down my old water heater. The inlet and outlet pipes were soldered so I had to hacksaw them. I don't have a torch for soldering pipes. Is there a coupler or something I can use instead?
