All the Walnut on top was in the Dumbster at a local cabinet shop that makes...
I am tring to set the fence on my grizzly g0490 8" jointer but I am not sure if it should be supported by the outfeed table or if it should be suspended just above so that it can adjust freely.
Any thoughts?
I am in the process of making a out feed / shop table and I am looking for help with a problem. First with funds tight this is being made with 2X4 and Plywood that I have on hand. The table is 46"X 60" and 38" tall, I want one of the stretchers on the 60" side to be able to open so I can roll...
Here the upper mounts for the support arms are clamped in place so I can evaluate the design. As you can see, the implementation is not perfect - the upper half of the support arm is a bit too short (or the lower is too long). I'll need to adjust for this...or try again.
