    Floating /loose/slip tenon joint

    Are there any major reasons why you would use a true mortise and tenon joint of a Floating /loose/slip tenon joint? I could see if you were making a through tenon, but even then once it is glued into the mortise is there really any major difference?

    Remove floating menu

    The old way of getting rid of the floating was to change the style. The NEW way is to set a new option to 'No' Go to User Settings->edit options-> Misc Options. At the bottom of the page "Floating Menu ???" set the "no" checkbox
