Great article. I thought it was interesting how certain brands were targeting younger professional contractors. To me, I don't care what it looks like as long as it has the performance, durability, and price I am looking for. Never hurts to have an aesthetically pleasing tool, but I think anyone who bought their tools based purely on their looks is really getting snowed. Cause then they're buying a black and decker! :-D

I wonder how the dust collection, ergonomics, and pricing compares to Festool. Something comparable but better priced would be very nice IMO.

But imagine being the proud owner of a Dodge Hemi 12" 10 hp saw!

considering personal experience with Dodge, that would be the last tool I would buy. YMMV. not a fan.
