I got to combine my woodworking skills as well as my laser skills. The plaque is oak and the leaves are made out of Maple, Alder and Walnut.

All done with the laser except for making the oak plague under it. quickest scroll saw I have ever used! Now if I can only talk momma into letting me get a Shopbot so I can play with that too!:gar-La;

I downloaded that laser project but never got around to trying it. You did a great job!

ShopBot has a new tabletop model that might make it easier for your wife to accept the new tool! And their forum is top-notch!
