Here is a knife I made myself. Its is a damacus blade with african blackwood handle and mosaic pins. The pics dont show the true beauty of the knife.

I didnt make the blade. Im not that talented. :gar-La;

I got the blade blank from a knife supply store online. Texas knife I think. Now I need a sheath for it. Anyone do any leather work around here?

Very nicely done. I like the handle material for the blade.
I don't do leather any more but you may try a shoe repair shop. They may be able to make you.

"Damascus" steel as it's known today is just two types of steel forge welded and folded/twisted/etc to make either a random or engineered pattern. The blade is etched, with the two types of steel reacting differently to the etching solution producing contrasting shades.

Ben, I have seen some of his blades and they are amazing!! A bit out of my price range though.
Now what did I do with that lotto ticket? :gar-La;
