What are your thoughts on the water based lacquer?? or did I miss that conversation?

The answer is that I think I like it. It is my first time spraying anything so I don't have any comparison. I thank the only problems I had where self induced (mostly inexperience).


I like the design too, but it is really function over form. They had a set amount of space and wanted to maximize the storage. When in the kitchen you will only see the side with the trashcan pull out. The other side faces a hallway.

So where did the wb lacquer come in? I thought is was white satin paint?

Very nicely done, Tom! I need to make a bathroom linen cabinet and a kitchen "pantry" for our place in NY. These give me some VERY good ideas.

I bought the Target coatings USL and white tint from Homestead finishing. After all the great reviews of this product here I thought I would try it.


I delivered the cabinet last night and the customers seemed very pleased. It fit the spot perfectly.
