Thanks, I did do the edge routing using a standard edge routing bit, on routing table.

Updated gift !

I wanted to let my godson's know who made, so instead of burning/handwriting, etc... I decided to get it engraved.

I went to Cary Awards and talked to Steve (owner) who gave me the idea of Laser Engraved photos (aluminum 3X3.5in plate). I then got a picture from their Mom. Boston Red Sox Fans at Fenway Park. and Voila!

I installed the Handcrafted by Brass Plate in back and now it looks almost like a real gift:rotflm:

I found out from Steve at Cary Awards that they can "Personalize" almost anything using this and other methods. From pens,pen cases, jewelry boxes, you name it.

A very nice and helpful guy who has access to a Shopsmith Mark IV. Im trying to convince him to retake up Woodworking and recruit as member for this site!
