There is a lumber place just north of Charlottesville, VA that sells "historic" lumber. The charge you for the wood, charge you for the fact that it is old growth, and also charge you for its historic value! Needless to say it can be expensive. The oak they salvaged from the distillery in England really smelled good thought!
