    Norfolk Pine Vase

    Hi everyone, here is a Norfolk Pine vase I made, it measures 6" tall and 4" in dia. You can see the 2 knots in the picture. Norfolk Pine is mostly white and has the red knots going all the way around the tree, when it is done curing there is some bluish to black stains from mold that attacks it...

    mimosa vase

    The power company cut a small mimosa tree down in their right of way a while back. It turns pretty good and dries very quick. This vase is only 5" tall, but gives one and idea of what the wood looks like. I will be looking for a larger tree in the future. Jack
