Lazy susan question

Please point me in the correct direction if I'm being naive. I'm interested in building a lazy susan and I was curious if there were any ratios I should follow regarding the diameter of the bearing plate and base in regards to the top? From my initial research it seems like the bearings are...

Web Crawlers Needed- Thanks Susan!!

A few weeks ago I found a link on how to make a Sliding thickness gauge using a steel rope crimp, I thought I book marked it, but alas no:BangHead:. I have spent hrs, and I do mean hrs looking for this site. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

I have a kitchen cabinet job to do, It has a lazy susan in it, anyone know of a design for a good basic door system. The one that I seen did not seem hold up well. Thanks Dwight
