A Stool for Grandmother - View1
Here is a stool I made that was a gift for my mother Christmas of 2009. One day I will setup proper photos, but I took the pictures of this two days before Christmas – Yes, I was running up to the last minute..;-) It is made of Red Oak with Walnut plugs, and the design is my own.- SgtSnafu

Oak & Gold Euro - TruStone Dino Bone w/Satin Gold Euro
Oak and Gold Euro on the left. Cut the top too short and tried to fix it with plastic shim. Finally disassembled and salvaged the kit. Pitched the oak. The TruStone Dino Bone on right is extremely hard (and heavy) stuff! Many sharpenings to complete this one. Satin Gold Euro kit.- RandyJ

Where's a good source of Oak & Pine
Getting ready for my 1st Furniture project (Sofa Table). Wife said no more Toys the grandsons room is full. Since this will be my first try at making furniture I don't really want to get to expensive wood. For the toys I've been getting everything at Lowes. Any advice will be appreciated.- arnie
