    corporate members & privacy

Steve, I believe that we may need to get Robb to post an announcement about this and explain the need for the info we require on Corporate Membership so those that were' faux' members can understand. I have no problem with people wanting to protect their privacy, but with laws the way they...

    Printable Tags for members

In order to recognize the members personally that have helped in making angels for Heartstrings I came up with a tag that I write the name of the scroller to attach to each ornament. It might be useful for anyone donating or selling their items. Each tag is about the size of a label. Feel...

    6 members from 5000

When I joined NCWW we had less than 400 members. We are now 6 members from 5000. I just wanted to thank everyone for making this the best woodworking site on the internet.

    Attn: Myrtle Beach woodworkers

Hi all, I'll be in NMB starting this Friday for a week and was wondering if anyone in that area would be willing to let me come meet you and see your shop. I am using one side of my garage for my workshop (13x30), but also keep my truck in there when not using the shop. I hope to be doing more...

20% off select items at Woodworker Supply for pro members

I picked up this flyer at the IWF show last week. You can sign up for a pro membership as a member of this club (or any other club) then you should be able to get these discounts. From what I can tell the pro membership is good for ~5% discount overall...

    Paypal answers for members

PhilS started a thread about how to use PayPal. Should we explain the PP procedure in the FAQ forum? I'm thinking there are a lot of folks here that are reluctant to buy from members that offer PP because they aren't familiar with the process or are afraid to try it. Of course, I'm not...

Saw for Free in Chester SC area next Week...NCWW Members only

Sorry Everyone, I haven't been on in a while I'm so busy, I put the sawmill on the road and I have been swamped.... Not to mention everyone buying almost every turning blank I had, plus almost all my curly and quilted lumber I had.....Imagine how hard it is to stock a shop again after...

    Discounts for NCWW Members

I thought that I've read that we get some discounts from local suppliers. Is that correct? How much (10%)? I buy most of my wood from The Hardwood Store surfaced at S4S ($0.80/bf for this) so some savings would help. They've never asked if I was a member so maybe I need to volunteer that...

And speaking of NCWW members in magazines...

After seeing Alan Shafter's great article on shop-made dust gates yesterday, when I opened up the July 2010 issue of Wood Magazine last night, why none other than Bruce Wrenn's (Junecol) face do I see staring back at me on page 8! Bruce submitted the "Top Shop Tip" for improving the dust...

Open up testing of Ballot to Corp Members...

If there are no objections, I'd like to post the test ballot form in a new thread in the Corporate Members forum. It'd be nice to sort out any "features" that I might have missed...... For this test, I'm going to still leave the results visible to everyone. Thanks, Jim
