sofa back table

Table with shelves with shelves and drawers built for a friend. Carcase,shelves are walnut veneer plywood with solid walnut face frame, tabletop, drawer fronts and base. Completed Feb. 2012. 63&quot; x 31&quot; x 13&quot; built for specific location to back up a sofa in vacation home.

Suggestions on new console design

Planning on making something like pictured below but with some changes. 1) A G&G cloud lift in the main horizontal stretchers 2) Espresso color (Maple/poplar/etc) 3) Maybe some edge treatment on glass edge 4) hopefully significantly cheaper than the $1000 price tag of the one below Questions...
