Hands-on at the lathe – Several mini-lathes will be available for hands on time – If you’ve never turned, but want to find out what it’s all about, or you just have questions about tools or techniques, lathes and turners will be available to assist novice turners or provide hands-on opportunities. Bring wood

I might try to go. Wouldn't know a soul but might be a good opportunity to meet some people and learn something.

Charlotte Woodturners is a great, and very talented, group of woodworkers. I'm sure this will be a nice event. With my pending move out of state I didn't renew my membership this year, but I've been a member for the past few years and really enjoy every meeting I attend.

I enjoyed the day with the Charlotte Woodturners & friends too. A lot of great demos were setup & some good deals in the trading area. Saw a few NCWW faces I knew there, and obviously there were a few I didn't know there too! I'll get some pics up later!
