Rough Sawn Lumber

I am looking for a lumber source near Greensboro of rough sawn lumber of any and all species. Is there such a place in say a 50 mile radius. Thanks in advance.

Steve Wall Lumber is about 20 miles north of Greensboro in Mayodan. Just go north on 220 and left at the highway 135 exit. Easy to get to. They have a wide selection of domestic and exotics. They've advertised in Fine Woodworking and other magazines for years and years and years. Good reputation. Check out their website for prices and species.

Thanks guys. I have been to both, but I am looking for someone that maybe has a sawmill and has some inexpensive rough cut sitting around. I know a couple but they don't always have what I want or need. Just looking for someone else.

Charlie Smith (friend and coworker of mine), aka SmithWoodWorks, located in Needmore (Mocksville).

Charlie has a circular blade sawmill and saws regularly and does custom work quite reasonable. He usually has a good supply of pine, oak and or popular air drying and/or fresh sawn. He's also an accomplished woodworker and knows what's needed for quality work.

not to schill my services, but if you are ever in the Iron station 28080 I have all kinds of stuff mostly large slabs and odd woods. I generally grade saw my logs and qsaw my oak.
