Since I know you are all so fond of pictures and since I am delinquent in posting any, here you go.... My In-Laws were over for the holdiday weekend and mentioned that they were looking for a monitor stand that could fit their 20" LCD TV and the cable box underneath, they had been to all the office suppy stores with no luck....

Great opportunity to get rid of those small pieces of Oak Ply I can't seem to be able to throw away... Why is that ? :eusa_thin

...still needs to be finish sanded and stained.

Nice job with the leftovers -- seems like that's a part of the post-Thanksgiving tradition, relying on leftovers!

Nice job Mike. :eusa_clap Much better built than that c*** you find in stores now and a really good way to keep scrap from the burn pile or landfill.

Pretty work, Mike. Tight joints, clean lines and the arches add a touch of elegance.

Post a finished pic or three!

Re: LCD Stand - Finished

Well, I can't seem to crank out the projects as fast as some of you. But here is the final result.

There is little difference in the color as it needed to be "light" to match their furniture.

I refuse to paint most things I make, so I finished with white oak stain (which is pretty close to white paint) and satin poly.

Not the most complex or elaborate project , but a finished project all the same. :-D
