Latest Project From My @longer.global Ray5 20 Watt Laser Engraver.
A Perpetual Calendar!
The design is from @etsy and I made it out of thin material from @buildersdiscountcenter
I imported the design into @lightburnsoftware and dialed in my settings.
For laser engraving, I used a Speed Of 3200, Power of 28 % and 1 Pass with Air Assist On.
For laser Cutting, I used a Speed of 300, Power of 88% and 1 Pass with Air Assist On
It took the laser around 30 minutes to cut and engrave all the pieces.
After some touch of sanding and test fitting, I stained the body and base of the calendar with a dark stain.
After drying, I assembled everything with medium grade CA Glue and activator.
For a finish, I gave it several coats of @rustoleum clear gloss.
A fun and unique project that is surely gonna be a great conversation piece!
