Anyone have the Woodtek 15" planer with a Byrd Shelix cutterhead in it? I'm trying to find someone who has actually made this change. Nobody at either Byrd or Woodtek can tell me if they have a model that can fit.
TIA!

What would be a good price for a used Woodtek Dust collector It's the stand up model the next level up from the compact floor one. I'm guessing it probably 10 years old or so. Doesn't look like it saw much use however. I can't find to much on CL or Ebay for them. It looks like brand new...
Hello everyone. I just discovered this site and had to join. The new home my wife and I just moved into has a 24 X 24 garage that I'm turning into a woodshop. I have an oportunity to purchase a new Woodtek 14" band saw, belt/disk sander, and a one and a half HP dust collector along with a Delta...
I'm considering their 1" over-extension ball-bearing slides for a project:

Can't find any reviews...anyone used them?

Wandered in to Woodworker's Supply yesterday to pick up a coupla' things, and as usual, walked out with more than I should.
They have almost all of the Woodtek clamps at 50% off!
I snagged a pair of the heavy duty (1.25" wide bar) 16" clamps for $17.
I think the sale has been on for a coupla'...

For sale is a 14" Woodtek Bandsaw that was purchased new only 3 months ago. Saw is in new condition (barely used). Comes with a 1hp motor, rip fence, ball bearing blade guides (upper & lower), light, & air blower. Sells for $530 plus tax. I have extra blades that I will throw...
Thinking of getting one, (if I can talk the wife into it) I know it's Woodworkers supply's name brand built in the orient, anyone have any experience with one?

not mine but looked up listed at 600 dollars. Poor fella says its a planer but a picture he tooks clearer says jointer.
Also has a dust collector listed but its cheaper to buy it at lowes, same model there for 250 brand new. (Apex)
Specifically, the 15-inch 2-speed planer. I've never known anyone with a Woodtek machine - chaiwanese junk or decent stuff? How would it compare to a 20-year-old knockoff of a Delta 15" planer?
Thanks!
Chris
Saw this DC with a remote on Raleigh CL for $200 this AM...
