Update. Now it is. 3 days late
Well almost. I have one more small thing to test and I will be ready to send the first mailing list of this year to the three Vendors, that I assume require it. I will do that between this evening and tomorrow noon.
The email that is sent has standard wording...
I've been testing most of the day, and I feel that the primary Photo Upload issues that were a result of the server upgrade are now under control (fixed).
I just, as a final test. uploaded and processed six 5 MB photos and all was well. So at this point, please go ahead and start uploading...
After experiencing my first table saw accident (while ripping, an off-cut came off the blade funny, got into the back of the blade, slid up on the blade then got a final max-velocity push from the front of the blade into my stomach) I am planning to do some safety upgrades. I am fine BTW, just...
Ok... long story but after replacing the head stock belt on a Delta 46-465, which as per the directions involved me whacking the spindle in a vain attempt to get it moved out of one side of the head stock to replace the belt, I put the chuck on the lathe last night and there was a noticeable...
Super idea and great price.

A while ago I asked for some help fixing a stuck tension nut on my 14" delta bandsaw: http://ncwoodworker.net/forums/f29/tension-nut-1950s-delta-14-bandsaw-33078/
Thanks for all the comments I received. I worked the blade off the wheel using the tracking adjustment as recommended...
Since the first of June I've been without any AC since the mini-split in my shop was hit by lightning. By the time I haggled with the insurance company, got bids and settled on a install date, it's seemed like an eternity, but finally I'm cool again with a completely new unit. I put a...
Hey gang!
Many of you who like to browse threads in Hybrid mode have been faced with an annoying bug.
When going to page two (three, four, etc), you'd get the new page, then jump back to the first page. Very annoying.
Thanks to Steve Coles upgrade, I believe this bug is squashed.
If...
I have a 10" craftsman band saw....(I know don't expect too much from this) model# 119.214000. When I bought it in '96 I was smart enough to buy the 3 blade pack of spare blades #929867 at the same time only I did not check them to see if they were correct. I was cleaning and decided it needed...

Stopped in Chesnee Hardware & Supply this morning and they have a couple of Pepsi crates of 8" Colson fixed casters for $10 each. Not sure about material or what they are rated.

I bought a Bosch 1617 fixed base router for my router table and now I want a separate handheld router to keep from having to pull my Bosch out of my table when hand routing is needed. I am going to go with a combo router pack that incudes both fixed and plunge bases. Give me your opinions please...

I got the DW618PK 3 base kit 2 or 3 years ago when Mark at HDT had a few for ~$120, a fantastic deal.
90% of my routing I do with the Bosch 1613 in the router table. I doubt if the Dewalt has 3 hours run time, all hand held, heck it's never been dusty!
I started...
So I picked up this really nice chamfer plane. Had a few issues. First, the box is too tight. Next, the blade is missing. Didn't seem like showstoppers to me.
First up was to remove the stuck box. That took about 10 minutes of careful work. I was able to use soft pine as a punch and tease it...
Some time ago I bought a Powermatic Model 45. Great hearty machine. It only came with a live center and a spur drive though and I've picked up a few extras to go with it.
I noticed that faceplates seemed just a little bit out of round and wobbled ever so slightly. As long as you don't go...
My 1983 Subaru 4WD Turbo wagon suffered a broken drive-axle on December 23, and took up half the garage space until a few days ago when my son-in-law was finally able to deal with getting the parts prepped by the machine shop and intalling them. Here's some views of the now available again...
