Woodturning at the outerbanks?

Hello, I am traveling to the outer banks over Labor Day for a wedding. I was wondering if there were any stores down there with woodturning stuff in them. I am looking for something to kill some time while my wife hits the outlet malls. I plan on fishing, but if the weather is bad, I would like to find a woodworking store to kill an hour or two in.

Seriously, I didn't find anything the whole week I was there but others may have suggestions
