This is a near new Central Wood Lathe.3/4 H.P. 5 Speed 36 inch Bed with 12 inch Capacity Bowl turning with Reverseable Head. Comes with all tools shown 8 Wood Chisels only 2 were ever used, Bowl turning Attachment, drill chuck , and Brand new pen maker set. This has only about Two hrs. use and nearly $1000 of equeptment offered for only $425.

Those look to be the HF Set of tools which I think are like $65 max and you can always use a 20% off coupon. So at $229 + $65 = $294 for lathe and Tools. If memory serves the lathe comes with the face plate. The chuck is like $35 at WC and probably $25 at most for the mandrel so in all based off the pictures I see $354 + tax Brand New. Now keep in mind if you are patient and get the 20% coupon you can get the lathe for $185 then do another coupon for the Tools $52 so you are at $297 + tax brand new. Unless of course those tools are not from HF then it could get more expensive. To me maybe $300 for everything would be okay. Of course I could just be cynical and cheap...

Actually, that chuck was $12 at HF on Capitol when I got one not too long ago (last few months). The HF turning set I am most familiar with (Windsor Design) has unstained ash handles, so it is possible that is a better (or higher priced; many consider the Windsor Design set as one of the "gems") set of tools. The Windsor Design set goes for under $50, often under $40. But no way was this over $1000!

Yep harbor freight tools its the set I got 83.99 nice chuck maybe worth the extra 200.00$
