Back in March of 2006, this is what the North Carolina Woodworker web site looked like:

A few things have changes since then. The site now has some limited advertising to help pay the bills, and donations are not only accepted but even encouraged. What hasn't changed is that the site is still free, and open to residents of NC and surrounding areas. The other thing that hasn't changed is the decor  , and it's time to freshen up the way things look. This isn't just about changing colors, it's also about reducing clutter and presenting the information in a more organized way.

Unfortunately, the technical staff, while good with databases, programming and network protocols, has limited graphical design talent. Combined, it wouldn't even fill a bandsaw box :embaresse. So we're looking for some help. :help: If you have experience designing web sites or done related graphical work, please consider volunteering some of your time to help the site :icon_thum. No programming experience is required, but you would need to be familiar with HTML, stylesheets, and navigation/layout concepts.

If you're interested and want to know more about what's involved :eusa_thin, please send me a PM. And thank you! :icon_cheers
