I finally got my vac bagging system setup and used it to re-veneer this antique table with Rosewood veneer. I really held up on doing this until I had the system setup because I really didn't want to screw this job up. The veneer alone was $315.00 so you can appreciate my concern.
Here is the vac system I put together with components from Joe Woodworkers website(shameless plug for Joe) :lol:
And here is the top and drop leaves together to show the grain match. I think it turned out pretty good for my first bag job.
This is the table the top goes on. I had to do a lot of repair on the base and believe it or not, the majority of this base is solid Rosewood. Back when this was made, it probably was 1. Plentiful and 2. Cheeeeep.
