Twin Beds (WIP with Pics)

Last weekend I began the latest project for my daughter. A set of twin beds for her new bedroom as she grows out of the crib. These are made from the Elm purchased from Woodguy several weeks ago and if all goes well will be done before Thanksgiving.

Thought I'd share some of the work in progress ...

so far so good. I can't wait to see how this turns out. That elm is some nice wood.

That is a lot of cutting and joinery already done. Did you make a jig to do the stepped mortises with the router?
