I know Duke as do a lot of people from the area. He's a local sawyer and sold my Son his first rifle. Duke was a good honest man, always willing to help however he could - he will be missed.

Wow, that's bizarre. It wasn't the tree that he was fellin' it was another random tree that just blew down :icon_scra It's a very sad loss to lose a good member of a community, and I don't mean to make light of that. But you wonder could it have been tree retaliation :dontknow:

Something similar happened this past weekend to a guy taking down trees in a Charlotte Cemetery.
