Still working on the bigger ring

This is what I got out of the big ring - Glued a piece of Ipe to the bottom after cleaning it up in the Jumbo jaws on the lathe - I still have something in mind for the Ipe in the future - will be but on the back burner for now thoe

Good recovery!!! As they say, the better woodworkers know how to better recover from their mistakes - EVERYONE makes them. Like mass producing table legs and putting mortises on the front/top/inside where the drawer goes:BangHead::BangHead:- yes I did. Oh well, I'll use them for another short table.

By the way, where do you get your Ipe lumber from?
I've been looking everywhere and can't seem to find any.
Klingspor had some once several years ago, left over from a deck job I think, but haven't seen any since.
