Looking to make some kitchen cabinets - wifey wants pine of all things, country look, saw a picture in a magazine . I'm looking for a source for 3/4" pine rift cut plywood so I can start figuring how much this project is going to cost me. Not the warped flat cut junk they sell at the BORG either.

Thanks

Jeff, if you can't find the right plywood, I'll make some rift-cut pine veneer for you to glue on to other plywood. Special deal too cause it's for you!

I would use prefinished plywood for the boxes [species doesn't matter much] and solid wood on ends that will be seen. saves having to finish the insides.:icon_thum it aint like you don't have any solid wood.....:rotflm: rail and style doors with raised panels comes to mind.:widea:

I built and entertainment center for a friend out of the "knotty white pine" plywood that Hardwood Store of NC sells with white pine face frames. Turned out great.
