NB: I did NOT make this blank.

Of the pens sold last month, one was a cross inlay blank made by Eagle.
Not the same wood, but this is tonight's output:
Gold Titanium Jr. Gent II dressed in Curly Sycamore, Bloodwood, and Holly Cross Inlay.

...Can you 'splain how you did it?
Mike,
I begged & pleaded with Eagle for a blank. Then I turned it. :rolf:
Actually, I bought some of these off Eagle. This one was turned 100% with a skew.
My first time turning Sycamore -- it's fantastic wood to turn.
Thanks Eagle! :eusa_danc

I can't tell others HOW Eagle makes these blanks.
I have two conceptual methods cooked up on how I would make them.
I actually have much more flatwork experience than turning experience,
and when I make blanks similar to these, I'll KNOW for sure how my method works. I haven't had time to do it yet.

I did make a pen with a Yin-Yang inlay. This is what it looks like:
