WOW!

Charlie, I have seen almost all of your works. This is my favorite I think so far.

I don't know why, maybe the simplicity.

I REALLY like.

nice piece indeed!
Segmenting is an art in itself.
I can't imagine gluing that many pieces, much less
having them fit, and create a pattern.
Awesome

Thanks to all.
Earl, Jatoba and Hard Maple are 2 of my favorites to turn. I use a doughnut chuck to turn the bottoms. Works very well.

Thanks to all.

I have a donut chuck didnt like using it much on the old lathe as the lowest speed was 600 RPM,
think I am going to start using it more now.
I like to turn the bottoms between centers, but thats hard with floating bottoms:no:

Yes hard maple, Jatoba, Ipe I like but I hate PH

Charlie,

That is Gorgeous~! That is a pretty creative design, I like it a lot.

And 30 segments per ring, Ouch~! That must have been a ton of gluing. And that 60 segment ring, Goodness that's a lot of Gluing.

You are truly a patient one~!
