Today my son was over and we moseyed out to the shop to work on my solar kiln. BUT, his Mom, LOML, had asked me to build her a simple (for some of you) set of shelves for her basement bathroom.
Well, I had some scrap white oak boards that were long enough, so we made them from that. Please forgive this picture (I didn't realize that with no back in the shelves all my junk on the wall would show so prominently)
I made some trim by just ripping off some 1/4" pieces of the board edge. In the pic, everything is just in clamps to see how it will look. Plan to finish it with Golden Oak stain and maybe some poly for a top coat. Thanks for looking.
