Hook and Eye screws

I am looking for some small hook and eye screws to attach the train cars that I have made for my grandson - the wood that I made the cars out of is 3/4 thick - so they have to be small - does anyone know where I might pick some up at or order them on the net

Not sure if they have hook and eye but when I was looking for some small eyes to use on Christmas ornaments I found them at Michaels.

How many screw eyes do you need? I have a few hundred of the 5mm from lee valley (screw eys only though). I misread when I ordered them, and ended up with 1000 of the little buggers.

How about small (1/2") round, rare earth magnets? I think Harbor Freight / Northern sells them. Much safer and neat how they click together. Steve Mc

David, thanks for the links, I am going to need a few - LOML wants me to make one that spells out MERRY CHRISTMAS for next year plus I have a set of twin granddaughters on the way so I will be making them one as well

Phillip, I second Michael's, A.C. Moore or similar if you only need a handful. You might also try your local Ace or Tru-Value Hardware.

PM your address, and I will drop you 50 or 60 of the eyescrews in the mail. You're on your own for hooks though.

Check with Home Depot. I know they have the hooks because I bought a couple of hundred last month. I think they have the eye hooks as well.
