I had surgery a week ago, arm in a sling. doing everything with only one hand.
It gives a different perspective on turning and using tools in general, lots of creative clamping. LOL

Oh wow...Good thread.I do good on my flute blanks but when I do a bowl I have a time esp with the endgrain.I know it is all me...technique,sharpening tool presentation etc...I have both carbide and traditional tools.I am just going to have to just spend some time getting it all right some and not be in making something mode....spend time with the basics.......And then making time for some classes with Mike Davis would be super awesome.
